A shop built on grooves and pages.

Emylous started, as most good things do, with too many records and not enough shelves. What began as a private collection spilling out of a spare room has grown into a proper bricks‑and‑mortar shop — equal parts record store, bookshop and listening room.
We hand‑pick everything we sell. New pressings come from labels we actually like. Second‑hand stock is cleaned, graded and sleeved by us. Vintage finds are tracked down at estate sales, fairs and the back of friends' garages.
Books sit alongside the racks because the two have always belonged together — a record is a story you listen to; a book is a song you read. You'll find biographies, photo books, fiction with a soundtrack, and zines we couldn't say no to.
Hand‑picked
Every record passes through our hands before it reaches yours.
